More Podcast Episodes Incoming
Hey everyone! I think this is the first actual post I’ve made on the website, but I just wanted to make a quick update for everyone still following the site. I am currently editing a couple of old GeekBeerz Podcast episodes, and have around 100 other files of stuff that I named something weird and have no context for what it could possibly be. Honestly, I didn’t think it would take me this long to go through this many files, but here we are I guess. Anyway, I know there are at least 2 actual episodes, and maybe like 2 or 3 new We Hate Ourselves episodes. On top of all of that, we have a couple of other projects that are being worked on that I’m not allowed to talk about since they’re not being worked on by me. I’ll leave that to the other guys to announce when they are ready to. Thank you to whoever is reading this, and have stuck with us for the past 12 years of us being weird while talking into microphones. As the title says, more is on the way, and we hope you’ll join us for it.

Outlandish Opinions: The High Republic Will Be Awesome, But Ultimately Pointless (Star Wars)
Hello everyone, it’s been too long since I’ve written nonsense opinions here.
With the conclusion of the Star Wars episodic saga with Rise of Skywalker, the future of the franchise will certainly be an interesting journey both for the company and the fandom. One of these revelations comes in the form of the High Republic, a subsidiary-era within the Star Wars universe that will delve into multiple different stories and tales in the form of books and comics.
Now this was an initial news of excitement and such, but I have since had time to think about it and ultimately I believe that limitations are likely to occur. We are now officially heading into the next generation of console gaming. Alongside the already apparent and impressive Nintendo Switch system, we’ll soon be getting our hands on the new Xbox Series X as well as the Playstation 5.
Memes aside, these new consoles are easily the most striking and most daring yet with both their physical appearances and their inner workings. But as gamers overall we’ve always cared less about the box and more about the games themselves. So which upcoming games should we look forward to? Which ones impress us here at GeekBeerz the most?

Update: GeekBeerz Podcast Will Finally Be Returning, Shambles And Rambles Going To Bi-Weekly Schedule,We Hate Ourselves Podcast Coming Out soon, And Straw Wozz Announcement!
Ok so a few things to catch up on. Due to the COVID-19 stuff going on we’ve had to shift things around and wait for other things, it has all been nothing but a complicated mess. But it’s worth mentioning that there are exciting things heading your way soon enough.
First off, GeekBeerz Podcast will finally be coming back. Thankfully Geoff has returned locally so now we dont have to struggle through the discord nonsense when recording. The next episode will likely be released this week or next depending.
Secondly, Shambles and Rambles will be returning to a Bi-weekly schedule for the foreseeable future. This is so that it can be in coincided existence with the other recordings we’ve got going on.
Thirdly, our upcoming project titled “We Hate Ourselves, So We Watch Bad Movies” will likely be released very soon. This is a podcast with no real narrative, rhyme or reason to the madness of watching a bad movie. The movies are usually randomly selected junk from places like Netflix or Amazon Prime.
Fourthly, There will be a new limited series coming soon called “Straw Wozz” which will be a discussion series about specific movies and shows that are canon within the Star Wars canonical timeline.
And lastly, I hope everyone is doing fine during these strange times and good luck to ya out there. I promise the wait will be worth it soon!
