Hello everyone! So I’ve painstakingly progressed further into this game enough to the point where I can come back and further talk about this fantastic game!
In this continuing post from the previous one, I’ll be discussing mini bosses, main bosses, and some other unique mechanics. I will also further explain why this game is not only harder than the other SoulsBorne games, it’s undoubtedly intended to be harder! Read the rest of this entry
Hello everyone! Just a quick update. We may have come up with an official time for when we will record our revival podcast series weekly! If things go in our favor, it’ll be Friday nights.
Why do I say all of this on a post? well because if we were to eventually be inclined to stream our Podcast, we would like to let people know when this would likely be done. Granted, streaming would not happen for some time (we may have a “base” for recording sessions, free of obstructing noise and folly, but it may take some time to set it up in our favor!).
Hopefully, this can get started real soon. Perhaps this Friday can officially be our start date? nobody knows for sure. There is also no word yet on when the other Podcasts will be out, but I’m occasionally playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice of the Taylor Tom Games Or Die Twitch channel at very random times. If you want to see a silent stream of me failing hard then go check that nonsense out!
Until next I post…
Hello everyone! So I recently got a chance to play through Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, at least four to five hours of it, and I believe I’m far enough in to start this write up in regards to what I’m about to talk about here.
Is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice harder than Dark Souls?
For that matter, how does it match up to the sequels, Bloodborne and even Demon’s Souls? Certainly this game is very different from the usual, and much beloved, formula that FromSoftware has given us. but to that end it’s still very much a new addition to the “SoulsBorne” fiscal world, merely by similar items and strategies and mainly by looks and challenging tasks.
This is part one of a two part write up, so I hope y’all enjoy… Read the rest of this entry
Hello everyone! It’s basically a broken record at this point to say that we have all been busy or occupied by worldly and lively matters as of late. Again, we stress that things will eventually return to form for us, and to prove this here are a few things in the works: Read the rest of this entry
Hey guys. So it’s no secret that Geeks In A Dungeon has been on a halt for quite some time, but there is good reason for it.
While there are still a good number of episodes to release, the last we left off the series we actually had six players involved. Unfortunately on top of getting every person back to record, which is already a challenging thing, there have been life-involved moments that have drastically changed the course for most of us.
As mentioned in a prior post, Josh has left us for two years to serve a church mission. Josh played the character Thievy in our adventure and became a primary protagonist, which makes it hard to continue without him. Our other player has also left on a mission some time way before Josh left, he played a character that has not yet released in the currently available episodes but he too played an important role. Aside from absent members, we have all been busy with things such as jobs, marriage, and other important duties.
Now of course I am not the driving force for Geeks In A Dungeon, that would be our very own Sherman. He too has had some time consuming duties that have resulted in both the delay of continuing this series and even editing currently recorded material. To top it all off, his computer was recently having some problems. As of now it has been fixed but it’s still worth noting.
Now Sherman has that driving desire to keep on making Geeks In A Dungeon going, but he too has recognized the complex situation of continuing where we left off. So it is possible that a soft reboot will be in the works soon.
If this happens, we will keep our same characters and our same personalities and traits, but the adventure would restart from scratch and perhaps even be revised or revamped, depending on how Sherman goes on handling it. Despite people like Josh being absent, his character may still appear in an integral role in the story in some way, although that’s not entirely certain.
Now the prior episodes will most likely continue to be available, but will probably be alternately titled as “separate timeline” adventures or as pilot tests, think simple OVA’s for an anime that is similar but not as defined in context or as long as the main anime series.
When will this happen? Who knows. It’s entirely up to Sherman to determine that and to get us all back together for more grand adventures! I’m just here to give an update on the situation.
Thanks for reading!
Hello everyone, once again we have to discuss Pokemon Sword and Shield. There are countless theories, leaks, and rumors regarding these games, ranging from the amount of new Pokemon there will be to what the potential enemy factions will be like. But one theory seems to stand above the rest, one that outstandingly would make some sense in all of this. That theory is in regards to the armored evolution rumor, where existing Pokemon receive some type of gimmicky stone/power-up in order to evolve further into a newly armored version of said Pokemon, very similarly to Mega evolutions. While this may seem crazy at first, this post will list all of the reasons why this may very well be factual. Read the rest of this entry
With the surprisingly awesome movie Bumblebee, we can safely confirm the start of a new universe of films, and by that I mean the reboot audiences finally wanted!
Presumably all these upcoming films, known and unknown, will eventually build up to another proper “Transformers” titled film. But until such a time, we will likely be getting various spin-off films regarding origins or simple adventures of certain characters throughout the known Transformers world. But which one’s deserve to get their own film? Here are some of our picks for who, or what, we think could work! Read the rest of this entry
Hello everyone! I wanted to take this time to announce the departure of one of our own members! Josh, our own sports-maniac and Fortnite gamer, has decided to leave on a church mission for two years and we are all very excited for him to take on this new adventure! Fortunately he’ll be back in two years time.
This is not the first time one of us left on a mission, Sherman also left on a mission a few years back and very much enjoyed his experiences and life lessons.
Good luck Josh! You’ll do great!
Hello Everyone. It has been a long, LONG time but it is about time that I do another update on our “Pokemon Through The Years” page! This page was started years ago, way back when Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were still not out! I have tried to keep it relevant since then! And with the announcement of new game entries, it’s time to keep up to date once again! Hope you guys enjoy it, whether you’re new or re-viewing it.
Hello everyone! Did ya happen to catch that Nintendo Direct really really this morning? Well I decided to get up and watch it, and boy was I blown away! After watching the Direct I had a ton of thoughts going through my head, some of them pretty crazy. So I decided to share six of them with you today. Some are obvious and others are just… yeah.
Please enjoy my nonsense ideas! Read the rest of this entry
