Outlandish Opinions: The High Republic Will Be Awesome, But Ultimately Pointless (Star Wars)


Hello everyone, it’s been too long since I’ve written nonsense opinions here.

With the conclusion of the Star Wars episodic saga with Rise of Skywalker, the future of the franchise will certainly be an interesting journey both for the company and the fandom. One of these revelations comes in the form of the High Republic, a subsidiary-era within the Star Wars universe that will delve into multiple different stories and tales in the form of books and comics.

Now this was an initial news of excitement and such, but I have since had time to think about it and ultimately I believe that limitations are likely to occur. The MCU Legacy: Let Us Prepare For The Endgame!


Starting tomorrow, there will be fun posts going up that will analyze key characters and teams. These will go over their strengths, weaknesses, influential standards and their importance to the universe. This will all lead up to when the film Avengers: Endgame is released! This upcoming movie is seen as the ultimate conclusion to the characters we know and love from this current state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and many of their stories are likely to come to a close. Top Ideas For Transformers Spin-Off Films!


With the surprisingly awesome movie Bumblebee, we can safely confirm the start of a new universe of films, and by that I mean the reboot audiences finally wanted!

Presumably all these upcoming films, known and unknown, will eventually build up to another proper “Transformers” titled film. But until such a time, we will likely be getting various spin-off films regarding origins or simple adventures of certain characters throughout the known Transformers world. Top 5 Green Lantern Corps Members

Happy St. Patrick’s day! The Holiday where you’re either smart enough to wear green or dumb enough to get constantly pinched. I was originally going to write this about a week ago but realized that the upcoming holiday would be a perfect time to do this post.

It’s no surprise that everyone, well everyone here at GeekBeerz, loves the crap out of Batman. But what about that other cool DC character? No not that stupid S-chested fool, the green guy.

Green Lantern is actually a pretty cool character (Hal Jordan, Jon Stewart, etc.) with some pretty cool space-related notions and stories. Unfortunately his fame has been tested over the years and not for the better, that 2011 film certainly didn’t help. But if there’s one thing that most people can agree on, it would be the various alien members of the Lantern Corps.

There are many that exist, a roster as big or bigger then the entire cast of X-men characters. Some are very commonly known like Tomar-Re and Kiliwog, but there are many more than just those guys, of course there is only five on this list that we enjoy the most.
