Be sure to check daily for featured posts regarding the From Software games, starting tomorrow…
Hello everyone, sorry for not posting yet again. Personally I’ve been busy with college again and the other guys are busy with the usual jobs and such, Geoff however has a wedding situation to deal with so be sure to congratulate him!
Anyways I was going to wait to announce this until it was much closer to September, but here we go: The month of September will be “SoulsBorne” month. That means that either each day, or every other day, will include some sort of post in regards to either of From Software’s popular games. These posts will include things from such games as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls III and even Demon’s Souls! We may even include things such as Souls-like games and perhaps even stuff regarding From Soft’s soon-to-be game that is very Souls-like in nature: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
So be sure to check back in September for all the cool things we’ll be doing!
Hello guys, as promised I am here to give an update on what’s to come in the following months / the remainder of the year. While we have taken a long hiatus from the site, we are still conducting ideas and plans in the background. I think this list would go better if we were to split it into different categories… Read the rest of this entry
Hello everyone, it has been months since anything has happened here but don’t worry we haven’t died yet. We just needed a rather big break.
We still have things to come and the Geeks in a Dungeon video is still being worked on. More information to come soon…
Hello everyone! It has, unsurprisingly, been a while yet again.
Well to celebrate the release of SOLO: A Star Wars Story (which any fan should definitely check out!), I figured it would be plausible to finally make a post that has been on the back burner of my mind since before episode eight even came out.
Obviously this post regards to the anthology films, which are canonical films in the saga that act as “in-between” tales to fill in the gaps between the episodic films that normally jump ahead in the timeline between films. To put it more simple, the main films regard the “Skywalker” storyline while the spin off films tell other random tales that usually contribute to the main overarching “Skywalker” tale.
But besides Rogue One, Solo, and the possible Kenobi, Yoda and Boba Fett films heading our way, what else could they do? There is certainly many stories that can be thrown aboard the silver screen, but which ones would we actually want to see? Well I certainly have some hopes for what they can do. While my ideas may seem odd or unlikely, keep in mind that it is highly possible of Lucasfilm to throw virtually anything at us especially since the latest Solo film proved that any unexpected thing can actually happen now (those who saw the film know what I mean).
I have thought up of five ideas that I would really, really want to see in the future of Star Wars, please have a look and feel free to comment or whatever. Read the rest of this entry
Hello everyone! First off I want to announce that tonight we’ll be streaming “A Way Out” on our twitch channel! At the time of this post going live, it’ll be happening within the next hour or so. We’ll most likely be streaming this game for the next few weeks to come.
Another announcement is that the title of our twitch channel has also gotten a change in name, albeit slightly. Instead of just being called “Taylor Games Or Die” (or “taylorgamesordie” as it is technically written on twitch) will now be known as “Taylor Tom Games Or Die” (taylortomgamesordie). This is done for the fact that, in the future, there may be individual “solo” streams from either myself or Taylor. Of course we’ll still be together to play the bigger or more ridiculous titles, but perhaps there will be days where Taylor will want to play a session of Fortnite or perhaps I will want to play an hour of Warframe.
This is also to keep the initials of “TGOD”, which we very much like!
Anyways we hope our stream will be watched, if not that’s cool too. At the very least we’ll finally be able to play this game!
Anyways it’s your life, have fun…
Hello everyone! And welcome to a very unsurprising announcement by us. While we are still in that moment of both adjusting and redoing our usual activities here, Taylor and myself thought it best to re-reveal that “TGOD”, which normally means “Taylor Games Or Die” and sometimes “Tom Games Or Die”, is still very much a thing. We even made an announcement video, which you can also view on our youtube channel HERE.
Sure, our twitch channel (which you can view by clicking HERE) has been dead-ish for a while, and we’ve all been busy with the sinister pressures of normal life getting in the way, but we have decided to bring this back and, hopefully, create a consistent schedule. We will also be making sure that we deliver the best possible quality for each video as possible, we’ll probably even stream directly on our youtube channel too at times.
But what kind of games will we be playing? Well our choices will range from playing either the most popular thing, the most interesting or unique things, and occasionally the most garbage thing. But here are just some of the ideas that we have coming up so far:
- Tay & Tom Find A Way Out (a playthrough of the game “A Way Out”)
This will likely be a series split into parts or segments, we both co-bought this together and have planned this playthrough for quite a while now. This might actually be our first legit recording we do.
- Tom’s Infamy (a playthrough of the “Season of Infamy” segments of “Batman: Arkham Knight”)
Taylor has given me some crap for not playing these add-on story segments of the third Rocksteady Arkham games, and what better way to do it then to stream it all?
- Taylor Versus VR (random games on Playstation VR)
Taylor spent money on a Playstation VR, Tom has quite a number of VR oriented games for Taylor to play, what a perfect set up!
Well that’s just some of the stuff planned. Be sure to check back regularly for any upcoming content or uploads. Geeks In A Dungeon is still getting episodes and the video version of the first episode is still getting worked on and will be out soon. Also, an upcoming series known as “We Hate Ourselves, So We Watch Bad Movies” is still releasing hopefully soon.
You can also visit the Taylor Games Or Die twitch channel to view previous streams…
Welcome to yet another impression, and this time it’s with a game that has been dominating the review front as of late.
I have spent a little over a week on this game and have finally beaten it. Taylor has also beaten it so I’ll be adding a few comments and impressions from him in this post as well. There will also be no spoilers in the game since I feel as though spoiling would absolutely ruin this game for anyone new or old to the series. So is Kratos a better character now? Is God Of War still relevant to our modern day? Let’s find out…
Hello there! Welcome to a relatively special post. With the next installment of the God Of War franchise nearly here, it helps to look back at what this character has gone through in the previous multitude of games.
However, this look at his past will not focus just on story elements (to an extent), but rather all the wrong-doings that have transpired by the rage and bleeding blades of this infamous ghost of sparta. While Kratos may not believe himself to be the villain of his own tale, he cannot deny that he has done far worse than most villains in media. Read the rest of this entry
Hello again, and once more I am here to update you all on what has been going down. Surprise! The Geeks In A Dungeon vid is still being worked on and heavily edited. It might take a couple more weeks before it is officially released, but I promise that it’ll be worth it.
Because I am overbooked with many projects to get done, both for college and freelancing, I am forced to turn all my attention on those things as opposed to the video due to those projects having legitimate deadlines. I hope any waiting can understand the predicament.
I the meantime, there should be a God Of War related post up soon, possibly something involving our lead up to the Avengers Infinity War film, and hopefully a second Ultimate Hate (and Love) relationship editorial. You can read the first one, which is about Transformers, HERE.
Well, until the next whatever…
