GBHorror2017: Little Nightmares: My Impression

Welcome back to another GBHorror post! Let us keep this horror train going with another Impression post. Like my Impression posts on Pokemon Moon version, these posts are technically game review posts but without numbers or ratings. I instead write up my opinions whether good or bad, then give my final intake in the end. Little Nightmares was a particular game that I feel is capable of being talked about in a single post (my Pokemon Moon one is split into three parts, with part three coming at a later date). So please read what I thought of the little Indie game known as Little Nightmares. Read the rest of this entry
GBHorror2017: Are Bats Really That Scary?

Welcome back to yet another Halloween post! And this time it isn’t a top list at all! Today I want to bring up the topic of a particular Halloween icon that I think is prepped for a reasonable question: are bats really that scary? While they ain’t on the same turf as something like a spider or a ghost, they certainly agro or frighten a good many people. So today I will be looking at this question and explaining my reasoning as to why or why not they are scary. Read the rest of this entry
GBHorror2017: A Look Back: “Top 10 Creepypasta Stories

Welcome back! This may be kind of a cheat to do during this month, but screw it! I want to do it! Today we will be looking back at an older post that I’ve done almost over a year ago. This was a top ten list regarding creepypastas, There was also a little apology part of the post but let’s just ignore that shall we?
So for this, I’ll be analyzing and re-reading my own post to determine if my picks for the list were good or not. Read the rest of this entry
GBHorror2017: Top 6 Rituals

Welcome back! So does anyone want to know what’s a really scary concept? Rituals of course. Rituals throughout the world, if not religious or innocent, can develop a true sense of morbid and horrific feelings as most of them meddle with such topics as dealing with the devil, or summoning vengeful demonic presences. This list will not include actual satanic or other rituals, but it will have interesting and oddly cool concepts and ideas that are, at the very least, fun to learn about. This will also provide links to the rituals in their entirety of rules and directions. So without further ado… Read the rest of this entry
GBHorror2017: Top 5 Theme-Drenched Horror-esque Films

Welcome back to yet another post! Surprise, surprise! Another list post. I seem to like these kinds of post more than others. This one is a little more specific than most though. Basically we have films on this list that are not only scary or horror themed, but also evoke a style or lenience towards a particular setting. This setting could be a certain century, universe, or even holiday. These ones here are what we think are the coolest or best choices… Read the rest of this entry

Yep, another GBHorror2017 post! Did this one catch you off guard? Don’t be surprised, Pokemon always seems to be on the mind no matter how hard I try to avoid it. So yeah anyone who has ever played a Pokemon game knows that certain kinds of these pocket monsters can be creepy. So instead of doing the usual type lists that I do, we’ll be looking at the Pokemon creepers that either have the most messed up backstories or are just creepy in nature. GBHorror2017: Top 6 Tombstones

Welcome to another GBHorror2017 post! This time we’ll be looking at the one thing that truly seals the deal of death, tombstones (also graveyards in general). Now for the most part tombstones can be beautiful works of art, they can even be interesting and very descriptive about the kind of person the very stone identifies. However like with most things, there are also tombstones which are either scary physically or live on through urban legends!
I’m especially excited about this one because half of the list are cemeteries that I’ve actually visited a few years back, and three of the images are actually photographs taken by me! You could argue that I’ve been preparing for this list all along!
Anyways, let’s learn about what kind of tombstones and graves are out there… Read the rest of this entry
GBHorror2017: Top 6 Horror Themed Found-Footage Films

Welcome back to another GBHorror2017 post! And yes, another top listing post as well! Found footage films have become a huge staple point in modern filmography, being able to bring a scare across while keeping a cheaper budget. While they are sort of annoying constant with almost four or more movies in this style each year, we can’t help but find them always interesting as though they were a guilty pleasure. In this list we’ll be looking at the top six found footage horrors that we think are absolutely worth a watch. This will be exclusively either theatrical released films or direct to DVD films, so nothing that was made or originated online like on Youtube or something (sorry Marble Hornet fans).
