Honorable Mention: Marvel’s Avengers Game (Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics)

While a little disappointing in terms of showing no gameplay or other additional features, the fact that this is a wholesome and original story is already worth getting excited for! With different designs and a popular voice cast with the likes of Troy Baker, Nolan North and Laura Bailey, we expect great things to come from this title next year. Plus the potential connection to the PS4 Spider-man game is already interesting enough.

5. Blair Witch Game (Blooper Team) / Ghostwire: Tokyo (Tango Gameworks)

Did you know we like horror games? Well two were revealed and worth mentioning! The first is a surprising reveal of a video game based on the “mockumentary” found-footage franchise of the same title: Blair Witch. This game is to be its own thing with a new original story which follows a person investigating the iconic forest for missing children. He will be aided by his dog named Bullet and his camcorder, which will come in handy for puzzles and playing tapes found in the world. The game will release on PC and Xbox One August 30th.

The second game is a new title created by the same developers of the Evil Within series. Ghostwire is a horror-esque title that takes place in Tokyo, where the player will investigate the disappearance of the population of people while ecountering nightmarish creatures throughout the game. With the same artist, Nakamura, who helped make Okami, Bayonetta, and the Evil Within games, there is no doubt that this game will be nightmarishly beautiful.

4. Elden Ring (From Software)

After hearing the rumors, seeing the leaks, and having some form of denial, the collaboration game from two popular creators has finally been revealed!

From both the person who made Dark Souls and the person who wrote the Game of Thrones books, Elden Ring seems to be a game about Gods, Heroes, and an important bring “ring”. Not much else is known about the new title other than the fact that it’ll be an Open-world souls-like game.

Regardless, we are excited for more souls all day, every day! Granted, perhaps George should be finishing the books before anything else…

3. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel (Nintendo)

With the popular success of the recent Zelda game, it’s great to hear that a proper direct sequel is in the works as we speak!

Not too much can be said at this time other than that we are all incredibly excited!

2. Final Fantasy VII Remake (Square Enix)

FF7 has been a long time coming since it was first announced way back when, but now we have gotten even more reasons to get hyped including a release date!

We were able to see the newly designed combat mechanics and gameplay, including an iconic boss battle. It was amazing to see how this team was able to handle this remake with the care and respect this classic original deserves. We can tell immediately that this is more of a retooling remake as opposed to a simple recreation. FF7 is releasing March 3rd 2020 for the PS4.

1. Banjo-Kazooie In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! (Nintendo)

When they revealed Dragon Quest for Smash, we thought that was all Nintendo was going to offer us. But then before the show ended they teased us with something long time fans have been wanted for literal years!

The classic characters from Rare, Banjo and Kazooie, are finally coming to a Smash game! The wait has been well worth it, and the character(s) look like a powerhouse fit to boot!

Thanks for reading my badly written post! What was your favorite moment of E3 this year? Please let us know! Until I learn to write better…
